词汇是高职院校数控专业英语教学的重点之一。数控专业英语实践性和应用性很强，并且与普通英语在词汇方面存在很大差异，因此数控专业英语词汇的教学重点和教学方法也与传统的英语词汇教学有所不同。在高职数控专业英语词汇教学中应结合高职学生的英语水平，把“注重实训应用、强化发音规范、讲解一词多义和同义词、识记常见缩略术语、分析词汇特殊变形”作为教学重点，采用适合高职学生的灵活教学方法，从而取得良好的教学效果。

Vocabulary is one of the NC specialized English teaching emphases in higher vocational colleges. The NC specialized English is a highly practical course and of great application,meanwhile,it has great difference in vocabulary with ordinary English, there-fore, the teaching emphases and methods are also differ with those of ordinary English. In higher vocational colleges, the vocabulary teaching of NC English should combine with the students' English level, and take "practical training, standard pronunciation, polysemy and synonymy, common abbreviated term and special deformation" as the teaching emphases, use flexible teaching methods which are suitable for vocational college students to achieve better teaching effect.
