In order to realize energy performance target using system method, Jinan Steel built energy management system divided into eight stages. Combined with the characteristics of production technology of iron and steel enterprises, Jinan Steel strengthened the energy resource factor, law and regulation identification, carried out identification model for the industry reference and energy efficiency benchmarking and created energy control center etc. Energy system was established successfully, achieved good comprehensive operation performance, improved energy consumption contrast index.
