为了研究用外伸梁弯曲法确定薄膜/基体界面强度的可行性,采用零厚度内聚力单元来模拟薄膜/基体界面结合层的剥离失效。对外伸梁施加“加载-卸载”的载荷历程,利用加载过程中的界面开裂引起的能量耗散来表征界面能量释放率。采用二次名义应变准则和Benzeggagh-Kenane断裂准则来定义界面损伤演化和失效。研究结果表明,外伸梁弯曲法可以有效地测量薄膜杨氏模量和界面强度。文中提出的方法简便有效,具有一定的工程应用价值。

In order to explore the possibility of determining the interface strength of film/substrate system, the zero-thickness cohesive element was employed to simulate the peeling behavior of the interface between thin film and substrate. The loading history of“loading-unloading”was applied on the overhang beam to obtain the dissipated energy during the whole process, which characterized the energy release rate of the bonding interface. The quadratic nominal strain criterion and the Benzeggagh-Kenane fracture criterion were employed to define the damage evolution and failure of the interface. The results show that the overhang beam bending method is capable of assessing elastic properties of thin film and the interface toughness. The method proposed in this study is simple and effective, which sheds some lights on its application in engineering.
