USRP as the outstanding representative of software radio peripheral are widely concerned by researchers and enthusiasts of radio because of its low price, good versatility, powerful performance and other characteristics. This paper introduces hardware structure, the main chip and configuration method of the USRP2 motherboard and the RFX2400 RF board. Low level developed USRP2 to achieved CSS (Chirp Spread Spectrum) transmitter, which bandwidth of 12.5MHz, rate of 2.5Mbps.This design is a new attempt for the large bandwidth signal communication system on USRP platform.
