中唐著名诗人于鹄的生平事迹宋代已不详，《唐才子传校笺》考证虽然全面、精审，但尚有不少值得商榷之处。本文运用文史互证的方法，对于鹄的里贯、生卒年以及有关生平事迹进行深入地考辨，提出了许多新见。
중당저명시인우곡적생평사적송대이불상，《당재자전교전》고증수연전면、정심，단상유불소치득상각지처。본문운용문사호증적방법，대우곡적리관、생졸년이급유관생평사적진행심입지고변，제출료허다신견。
There had existed unclear information in the Song Dynasty about the life story of Yu Hu, the well-known poet of the Mid-Tang Dynasty. Though The Rectification Notes on the Biography of the Gifted Scholars in the Tang Dynasty has a compre-hensive and deliberate research and criticism on him, some amendments and addenda can still be made to a few places of the notes. The present paper aims at starting a thorough discrimination and discussion on his native place, the dates of his birth and death and his life story by means of textual research into historical documents as well as his literary works, and puts for-ward many new opinions.
