针对320×240焦平面阵列探测器(像元大小25μm×25μm),设计了一个变倍比为3倍的长波红外连续变焦光学系统,其工作波段为8~12μm,从短焦到长焦位置的F数从0.98到0.85逐渐减小,可实现焦距在45~135mm范围内连续变焦。该系统由4组元组成,每个组元仅有一片透镜;共8个面,其中5个为非球面、1个为衍射面。使用ZEMAX光学设计软件进行像质评价和优化后,在空间频率20lp/mm处,系统在整个变焦范围内MTF接近衍射极限。

An infrared zoom optical system is designed based on the optical zoom theory, five aspheric surfaces and one diffractive surface are used to balance aberration. The focal plane array (FPA) detector is of 320 × 240 pixels and every pixel pitch is 25×25μm. The working waveband of this optical system is 8μm~12μm. The focal length is continu-ously changeable from 45 to 135 mm with variable F# from 0.98 to 0.85. The system consists of 4 groups, each of which with only one lens. Image quality of this system is evaluated with ZEMAX. The results show that the MTF in the whole focal range approaches diffraction limited at the frequency 20lp/mm.
