The applications of powder devices in the production of acetylene by novel dry process were described .According to the running characteristics of current powder devices ,the de-vices which were more suitable for the production of dry-process acetylene were analyzed . The powder devices which were analyzed specifically included crusher ,conveyer and some other micro-powder devices .The development trend of devices f or dry-process acetylene production was clari-f ied .
