This paper briefly introduces the general situation of ramp proj ect in mining shifting from open pit to underground in Miaogou Iron Ore Mine,analyzes the existing problems of the ramp project,made a study of the ramp cross section improvement from the four aspects:optimizing technical ideas;prospecting engineering and geological conditions of premises,surveying hydrogeological conditions of premises,determining cross section optimization parameter and also has a calculation analysis of economic benefits of the ramp proj ect.
