Ideological construction is a key factor in training qualified socialist successors. In the background of social transforming, economic transition and multiplied value-orientation, ideological construction in universities is faced with both new challenges and opportunities. It is necessary to grasp the main paths and effective carriers for ideological construction, such as ideological and political education, campus cultural construction and personnel guarantee. Based on the practice in Shijiazhuang Tiedao University, the effective oath for university ideological construction is explored.
