为了加快厦漳泉大都市区的发展,适应同城化的城市现代化发展趋势,2011年8月福建制定了《福建省加快推进厦漳泉大都市区同城化的工作方案》,明确了厦漳泉大都市区同城化的发展定位与主要目标。随着《厦漳泉大都市区同城化合作框架协议》的正式签订,厦漳产业合作开始进入了一个以厦漳泉大都市区同城化为背景的发展新阶段。在同城化条件下,深化厦漳产业合作仍存在战略制约和体制制约这两个较为突出的难点,需要进一步通过改革和转变经济发展方式予以解决。
