The coal prospecting effect of CSAMT method in four mining area of Longyong coalfield was summarized from such sides as the techniques in field work, the types of original curves, data processing and the results of borehole verification. The corresponding relation between the coal stratum and the low resistivity abnormal zone was analyzed. And how to divide the coal stratum better was proposed.
