The development of new specification for vehicle and industrial gear oils in the world is briefly introduced.The gear technology for gear lubrication products in adaptability,wear-resistant durability,anti-skidding,pitting resistance and detergency is analyzed.The influence of above mentioned performances on the specification development of gear oil is discussed.Therefore,suggestions on the development trend of gear lubrication technology and domestic lubrication industry development are proposed.
