以知识分子情怀这一视角为切入点来梳理、分析杜亚泉的科学传播实践,会发现映照其中的杜亚泉思想上的救国思路：为国家谋文化上之建设,为国民普及通俗之科学,为民族引进先进之思想,完成对内忧外患的国家的救赎,以期实现国民的素质提高、国家的日渐强大、民族的生生不息。从杜亚泉的知识分子情怀来反观当今知识分子的信念与理想,并从他的科技救国思路来思考当下的科学与和谐发展,有着一定的现实意义。

Analysis in respect of intellectual sentiments found that Du Ya-quan＇s practice of scientific dissemination reflects his ideas of the approaches to national salvation： to seek for cultural construction for the country, to popularize common science for the people, and to introduce advanced ideas for the nation, and to save the nation from domestic troubles and foreign invasions; thereby the national quality will be improved, the country will be strong, and the nation will be dynamic. It will be of certain realistic significance to compare Du Ya-quan＇s intellectual sentiments with the present intellectuals＇ belief and ideal and to think about the present scientific and har- monious development according to his approaches to scientific national salvation.
