Frame of the chassis system is one of the key components in the heavy duty vehicle, commonly known as the “backbone”. The strength of each part in the frame has the relationship between each performance index of truck. The research of the frame manufacturing technology has become the primary task of heavy truck enterprises at home and abroad. This paper mainly introduces two kinds of mode of frame production. The advantages and disadvantages has been understudied through the comparison of its equipment line, process flow, the consumption of fastener and so on.
