Abstract: There is a rare reservation of platinum metal in the crust. Along with the increase of automobile sales and the emission standards, the consumption of platinum metal also grows fast. The paper briefly introduced the technological process and methods of recycling platinum metal from purification catalyst of automobile exhaust in waste automobiles. And the rate of recycling and utilization of platinum metal will greatly increased with the progress of research and technology.
