The Theory of Multiple Intelligence put forward by Howard Gardner provides fresh teaching ideas for English teachers.On the one hand,teachers should teach students in accordance with the combing characteristics of their multiple intelligence,and design diverse classroom activities.On the other hand,teachers should always be ready to change their roles to meet students＇ need according to actual situations,and help them develop the scientific thinking mode of autonomous learning so as to teach them how to learn a foreign language and to combine teaching with pleasure.
