Finite Cell Method (FCM) is a new particle tracking method, it is particularly suitable for modeling of contaminant migration process. FCM is applied in recognizing the longitudinal dispersion in porous media. Longitudinal dispersion is an important parameters of aquifer medium diffusion characteristics, but it is difficult to recognize this parameter.
