Taking the synonymous excavation engineering of two typical adjacent foundations in China as an example, the paper establishes hori- zontal model by using Midas/GTS4.2.0 finite element analysis software, simulates the mutual influence of two adjacent foundations in synony- mous excavation, and obtains the deformation, stress change of the support structure system and displacement trend of two foundations in excava- tion.
