以福建省西部的武平县中山镇为例，运用RS和GIS等相关技术软件提取土地利用、坡度、植被覆盖度、经营管理措施等信息，通过GIS空间叠加分析，获取当地水土流失斑的强度分布特征。研究发现：当地水土流失强度分布特征除了与当地植被覆盖度有关，更与植被后期管理经营密切相关；在一些高植被覆盖度地区如马尾松林地、水源涵养林地等区域，由于经营管理不当也分布相当程度的水土流失。

이복건성서부적무평현중산진위례，운용RS화GIS등상관기술연건제취토지이용、파도、식피복개도、경영관리조시등신식，통과GIS공간첩가분석，획취당지수토류실반적강도분포특정。연구발현：당지수토류실강도분포특정제료여당지식피복개도유관，경여식피후기관리경영밀절상관；재일사고식피복개도지구여마미송임지、수원함양임지등구역，유우경영관리불당야분포상당정도적수토류실。
Taking the Zhongshan Town of the Wuping county in west Fujian Province as the example , it was extracted the information of the land use , slope , vegetation coverage and management measures by using the software of GIS and RS.Through the spatial overlay analysis , it was gained the intensity distribution characteristics of the water and soil loss regions .The result of the study shows that in addition to the vegetation coverage , the characteristics of water and soil loss distribution more closely related to the vegetation management at late stage .In some high vegetation coverage areas such as pinus massoniana forest area and water conservation forest area , quite a few of soil loss appeared due to improper operation and management .
