学生消费者是个有争议的概念。而教育是一种服务产业,教育有其产品和市场,学生是教育产品的直接消费者。在教育市场中,学校与学生之间的关系是供给者与消费者之间个关系,学校发展将更多地依赖学生的消费需求。教育消费具有一定的生产性,学生不是被动接受,而是主动参与,最终又转化成学校的产品。确立学生消费者地位,有利于尊重学生的选择和保护学生作为消费者的权益。

Student consumer is a controversial concept. Education is a service industry with its own product and market, and students are the direct consumers of education products. In the education market, the relationship between schools and students is in the same way as that between providers and consumers. So school development will rely more on students' consumption demand. Besides, educational consumption is productive. As students are not passive receivers but active participators, they finally would turn into the products of school education. Therefore, establishment of the status of student consumer will benefit to respect the choice of students and protect students' right as consumers.
