对往复走丝电火花线切割加工技术自发明以来就存在的"单边松丝"问题进行了分析研究,认为该问题是由于电极丝正反向走丝所带入的工作液量不同,使电极丝所受放电爆炸力不同,从而导致电极丝阻力不一致,形成电极丝正反向走丝时伸长量不一致,所引起的两个方向张力不一致而产生的。分析了与"单边松丝"相关的因素,并设计了一种新型往复异速走丝电火花线切割加工模式。实验证明,在相同切割条件下,相对于传统等速走丝模式,该新型模式下的加工精度、表面质量、切割速度都有显著提高,尤其电极丝寿命延长3倍以上。

This paper studied and analysed "non-even wire tension" in HSWEDM,which has existed since the invention of HSWEDM. That is to say,when the processing of wire electrode continues discharging a period of time,the tensions of the wire on both ends of tube are inconsistent. Studies suggest that the amount of dielectric fluid brought into the discharging gap is different as the positive and negative moving direction of the electrode. Then the resistances suffered by the electrode are not the same which are caused by the discharging explosion. And the elongations of the electrode with positive and negative moving direction are different. Thereby the tensions are inconsistent and the "non-even wire tension" occurred. The factors affecting the non-even wire tension are studied,a new machining mode of variable wire travelling speed reciprocating WEDM is designed. Experiments show that with the same cutting conditions,the machining effects in the new mode are better than that in the traditional mode. The processing accuracy,the surface quality and the cutting speed are increased observably. Especially the life of the electrode is extended 3 times or more.
