从1968年到1978年,大约1700万中国城市大中专青年学生响应国家号召,离开城市,奔向农村,投身于一场持续10年之久的上山下乡运动。知识青年上山下乡运动作为中国当代历史的一部分,是未来中国当代史研究中无法回避的问题。当下关于知青史的研究最紧要的是对有关知青史料的搜集和整理工作。知青史料的内容应该包括4个方面的内容：1.档案文献史料;2.文字史料;3.文物史料;4.口述历史资料。

종1968년도1978년,대약1700만중국성시대중전청년학생향응국가호소,리개성시,분향농촌,투신우일장지속10년지구적상산하향운동。지식청년상산하향운동작위중국당대역사적일부분,시미래중국당대사연구중무법회피적문제。당하관우지청사적연구최긴요적시대유관지청사료적수집화정리공작。지청사료적내용응해포괄4개방면적내용：1.당안문헌사료;2.문자사료;3.문물사료;4.구술역사자료。
From 1968 to 1978,17 million young students in city responded the state＇ s appeal,left the city and rushed to rural area, and participated in the movement which named up to the mountains and down to the villages. It is a disavoidable problem for future study of the contemporary Chinese history. Now the most urgent matter is to collect and arrange historical documents. Its contents should include four aspects ： 1. File documents ;2. Text history materials;3. Record history materials;4. Oral history materials
