煤层气延3U1-P井属于排采井，在三开钻井施工中，选用绒囊钻井液在煤层段水平钻进，通过加入成核剂、成膜剂、囊层剂、绒毛剂等形成绒囊钻井液体系，保持钻井液较低的密度，保持井壁稳定、保护煤层，满足了钻井需要和井下安全、保证无掉块垮塌等现象。
