立式搅拌釜R-21机械密封原设计采用双端面非平衡型多弹簧机械密封,带外置反冲洗装置和循环冷却液,由于高温导致密封圈失效和轴的大摆动导致密封面跳动大,使得原结构机械密封使用周期较短。2002年进行了增量改造,加长了搅拌轴,搅拌桨叶由二级改成三级,加大了轴的径向摆动,更加剧了机械密封的失效。对机械密封使用周期短的原因进行了深入分析,提出了改进方案并进行了实施,延长了使用周期。

The original design of mechanical seal of vertical agitator R - 21 adopted double end face unbalanced type multi - spring mechanical seal with outboard backwash system and circulating cooling fluid. Due to the failure of seal ring caused by high temperature and heat of sealing face caused by shaft swing, kind of mechanical seal is short. After the incremental transformation in 2002 ~the mixer and the stirring blades were changed from two stages to three stages to increase radial accelerated the failure of mechanical seal.
