SINOPEC Anqing petrochemical coking plant replaced hot wax oil with warm tower oil injecting in oil - quenching system. The system has smoothly operated for many years, so the scheme was proved to be feasible. With the strong points of reasonable design, simple operation, low investment and quick return, the scheme could not only eliminate hidden dangers from freshening of warm tower oil in fractionating tower, but also improve operation of heating furnace, fractionating tower, and air compressor, which should be an important technical reforming measure for energy reserving and consumption reduction and efficiency improvement with science and technology.
