意识形态的制约作用是永恒的，即使译者在翻译过程中发挥能动性和创造性反抗主流意识形态之时，依然摆脱不掉它的操纵。译者主体性的发挥存在程度差异性。通过分析中国传统译史上的典型译例，可以发现：一方面译者翻译行为摆脱不掉意识形态的操纵，另一方面译者总是发挥一定程度的主体性；译者主体性发挥的程度差异与意识形态的制约等文化因素存在关联性。

Manipulation from ideology is eternal. The translator will still be controlled by ideology even if he/she gives play to his/ her initiative and creativity to resist the manipulation from mainstream ideology. Translator＇s subjectivity is varied in degree. From analyzing specific translation activities in Chinese traditional translation history, it can be found that on one hand, the translator is never without the manipulation of ideology, and on the other, the translator always exerts subjectivity of some degree; translator＇s exertion of subjectivity is related to cultural factors like ideology.
