公示语在日常生活中随处可见,其翻译得体与否涉及到城市形象问题。福建漳州位处“闽南金三角”，其公示语英译研究至今却少有人关注。基于目的功能论理论，2011年至2012年对漳州芗城市区部分公共场合公示语英译进行实地调查和详细取证，发现漳州公示语英译翻译水平总体较低，普及率较低。通过对漳州公示语英译样例分析纠错分类分析并提出修改建议，旨在提高漳州公示语的翻译质量，并为其他城市公示语研究提供参考。

Public signs are an indispensable part of modern life. Whether or not they are properly translated has an important impact on the image of a city. Although Zhangzhou City is geographically and economically important for Fujian, related study of the translation of public signs in Zhangzhou is absent. Therefore, basing on the theory of German Skopos, which proposes the principle of "function plus loyalty", from 2011 to 2012, the author undertook an investigation in which such inadequacies as spelling, grammatical mistakes, etc, have been found and analyzed in this thesis, Besides regional benefits, this thesis is expected to bring about technical reference for the translation of public signs in other cities.
