This article mainly illustrates the top-down design and independent development of EGR system. By analysis and resea,'ch of EGR system design, the key controlling factors which it needed to be noticed are summarized. Taking a 1.9 L diesel engine of a company as an example, hy a series design and analogue computation, the related verification is passed.
