Because of the serious scale formation in water injection pipelines in the fourth oilfields in the Middle of Tarim Basin, mull-element composite physical pigging technology is applied to the water injection main pipeline and branch line for scale removal. This measure has effectively lowered the pressure loss of water injection pipeline and reduced the second pollution of well head water quality and thus gotten good effects.
