在当前构建和谐社会主义新农村的背景下，调解制度以其独有的优势得到了社会更多的关注。律师具有参与调解矛盾纠纷的优势。为了充分发挥律师参与农村矛盾纠纷调解中的积极作用，本文针对当前社会农村矛盾纠纷的现状和特点、律师参与调解的优势、实践中存在的问题，提出相应的对策，以将构建和谐社会主义新农村的要求贯彻到我国律师的职业活动的实践中。

Mediation as a traditional mechanism to solve disputes has gotten more social attention with its unique advantage to construct the harmonious society under the background of socialist new countryside. Lawyers have their own advantages when engaging in dispute mediation. In order to fully play the lawyers＇ positive role in rural dispute conciliation, in view of the current situation and characteristics of rural social disputes, the lawyers＇ advantages and problems in practice of the mediation, this article puts forward some corresponding counter-measures, so as to play the lawyers＇ role in the construction of the socialist new countryside.
