构造地质学是地质学一门重要分支学科,20世纪五六十年代,我国曾在该学科领域取得了辉煌的成绩。但近二三十年来,却辉煌不再。究其原因,笔者认为主要是构造地质学在教学与人才培养方面存有不足,以致很难为地质学补充新鲜血液,培养优秀的地学人才。笔者作为构造地质学专业的一名研究生,对此深有体会。文章旨在改进授课方式、改变传统实验模式、培养定量思维、改革培养计划等方面,提出一些建议。

Structural geology is an important branch of geology. Significant achievements in this field have been made in 50s and 60s of the 21st century, but it has been losing its glorious stage for nearly two or three decades. The authors argued that there lies serious shortcoming in teaching and training talents of structural geology, which has made it difficult to develop and cultivate outstanding young geological talents to refresh blood of geology in the future. As a graduate student majoring in structural geology, the authors deeply understand and then some suggestions were put forward in the following aspects, such as improving the teaching way, changing the traditional mode of experiment, cultivating comprehensive quantitative talents and reforming the program of cultivating talents.
