指出了由于通常认为Wheatstone-Panum极限情况(W-P极限情况)的视差梯度为2,以致不同Wheatstone类构型的视差的垂直梯度Gv可能存在差异的事实往往被忽略的事实.通过改变先前几项得出对立结论的Wheatstone类研究构型的Gv,证明了Gv是影响W-P极限情况融合方式的重要因素.实验结果还提示:构型中特征组成以及成组特征排列方式的差异,可能也会影响W-P极限情况的融合方式.

Since the disparity gradient of the Wheatstone-Panum limiting case( W-P limiting case) was usually considered to be two, the differences in the vertical gradient of disparity (Gv) among different Wheatstone-type configurations was usually ignored. By varying the Gvs of several previous configurations which yielded contradictory results, it was proved that Gv is an important factor to influence the matching manner of the W-P limiting case. Moreover, the results also suggested that different feature composition and different combination mode of features in the configurations can have an impact on the matching way.
