理论的时代性主要表现在3个方面：一是理论产生于对时代问题的追问，二是理论具有观照现实的能力，三是理论具有时代前沿的批判和建构功能。对时代问题的批判意识、对人的状况的普遍关注、对社会现实的解释和改造是马克思主义理论内生的时代性意蕴。在社会实践中，中国化马克思主义与时俱进，以中国问题为中心，以现代化为主线，以全球化为参照，是马克思主义得以中国化、时代化、大众化的鲜明标志。

The epoch nature of theory is mainly manifested in three aspects. Firstly, theory has been generated from the consideration on the issues in that times;Secondly, theory can reflect the reality; Thirdly, theory has two functions of criticism and construction of the times vanguard. The value of Marxist Theory lies in three sides： its critical consciousness on contemporary problems, the general concern about the human condition and its interpretation and transformation of reality. In the social practice, Marxist Theory with Chi- nese characteristics is characterized by keeping a pace with time and centering on Chinese issues, which focuses on modernization in the background of globalization.
