发展性心理辅导是“为辅导对象实现更高的人生目标设计和提供最佳行为策略”，是心理辅导的发展趋势和较高的辅导层次。国防生由于未来职业的特殊性，社会和职业对国防生的要求远远高于普通大学生，因此，应加强发展性心理辅导在国防生培养上的研究与运用，以更高的起点、更完善的培养体系培养新型军事人才。

Developing psychological counseling is aimed at serving its object to achieve higher life goals and providing the best behav- ior strategy. It is the development trend and higher counseling level of the psychological guidance. The requirement of society and oc- cupation for the national defense students is higher compared with normal students because of their particular occupation in the future. Therefore, we should strengthen the study and application of developing psychological counseling on cultivating the national defense students and train the new military qualified persons with higher requirement and more perfect training system.
