This article briefly introduced the current situation of hydrucyclone's application on grading process of fine sand washing at one Uranium hydrometallurgy plant. The technological problems that exist at present in the washing process were analyzed and proposed improve advices and measurements on the basis of actual production. The purpose was to satisfy the producing demands, increase efficiency and reduce metal content in the liquid phase of the underflow in the hydrocyclone. The plant could meet the discharge limits, promote metal recovery, increase resource utilization rate and cut down production cost thereby.
