武汉地铁多条线路穿越红黏土地层,通过对其裂隙发育情况、均匀性、复浸水特性以及膨胀性进行深入研究,进一步对基础选择和承载力取值合理性进行探讨,并结合有关地铁工程实例,提出武汉地区红黏土总体上不具备红黏土的典型特征,在地铁工程勘察布置及工程地质评价中可按膨胀土考虑,注重防水保湿措施。

Many subway lines in Wuhan pass through red clay stratum. Through intensive study of its tissures, homogeneity, complex flooding characteristics and expansion, the basis selection and rationality of carrying capacity value are further explored. Combined with relevant subway projects, it is proposed that red clay in Wuhan in general cloes not have the typical characteristics of red clay, so in subway engineering survey layout and engineering geological assesment it can be considered as expansion soil and much attention should be paid to watertightness and moisture.
