A series of contents about data warehouse are introduced, such as the definition, haracte- ristics, architecture, design, OLAP and so on. The idea of using the data warehouse to store earthquake record are proposed upon the characteristics of the earthquake catalogue. It mainly discussed the implementation of this idea on the Oracle platform.
