Roof-contacted filling is not only an important part of stoping and filling ,but also a technical difficulty of filling operation .Based on the engineering background of east mining area of Daye iron mine and the problems the mine faces after the transition from sublevel caving to sublevel open stoping and subsequent cemented filling .The pa-per analyzes related factors that may affect roof-contacted filling on site , and then puts forward a series of technical measures to solve the problem of roof-contacted filling effectively .It has provided the theoretical basis and technical support to guide and improve the roof-contacted filling issues of Daye iron mine .
