二战期间，英犹双方做出政策调整，即英国由原来支持犹太复国主义者在巴勒斯坦建立犹太民族之家调整为限制犹太移民入境，而犹太复国主义者由原来与英国完全合作调整为与英国既合作又对抗。英犹关系的调整不仅对英国在巴勒斯坦的委任统治构成威胁，而且对犹太民族和巴勒斯坦阿拉伯人等都产生了深远的影响。

During World War Ⅱ, both the British government and the Zionists made adjustments to their policies; the UK changed from the original support for Zionism to set up a national home in Palestine to the limit of Jewish immigrants＇ entry, and the Zionists from the complete eooperation with the UK to a strategic combination of cooperation and confrontation. The adjustments of the relationship between the UK and the Zionists not only formed a threat to the British mandate in Palestine but also had a profound impact on the Jewry and the Palestine＇s Arabs, and so on.
