美国次贷危机席卷全球，各国金融监管的局限性凸显。中国金融监管体制也存在局限性：在实际中缺乏协作、监管的范围太小、存在监管漏洞、监管手段和方式更不上金融创新的发展、监管的法律不够完善、随着经济的全球化和金融一体化，金融监管的缺乏国际协作等等。我国金融监管必须要随着金融的发展而调整，借鉴各国经验进行创新，完善金融监管体系，使之与金融市场的发展相协调，注重信息的共享和监管的协调，使信息的不对称程度降低到最小，最大程度地减少监管的成本，确保监管不存在漏洞，监管及时，防范新的危机。
