本文尝试分析《麦田里的守望者》中霍尔顿的自恋情结和自卑情结，指出这两种情结之间的冲突是导致霍尔顿精神崩溃的原因之一。文章进一步指出人类和民族同样存在相同的问题，认识到这些问题并尝试平衡冲突对于人类和苠族都非常重要，它能为人类和民族带来更好的发展。

The present paper tries to analyze Holden＇s narcissistic complex and inferiority complex in the novel The Catcher in the Rye, and points out that the conflicts of these two complexes is one of the masons that causes Holden＇s breaking down. Furthermore, human beings＇ and nations＇ same problems are showed and then the conclusion that realizing the problems and trying to balancing the conflicts are quite important for human lreings and nations, which can bring a better development.
