城市公示语作为一种应用文体,旨在介绍我们的国家和城市。然而,甘肃省某市区的公示语英译却不如人意。本文就该市区公示语英译现存问题进行归纳分析,并提出相应的措施,希望引起相关部门的重视,从而完善和规范公示语的翻译。

As a practical style,public signs aim to introduce our country and cities to foreigners.The translation of public signs in one city of Gansu is far from satisfactory till now.This article summarizes and analyzes the problems in the rendering of public signs.Meanwhile,the author puts forwards some strategies to solve the problems,the aim of which is to provide some tips for the translators.
