通过对长江重庆主城区段2003—2010年朱沱、铜罐驿、寸滩断面水质监测数据的统计分析，对悬浮泥沙含量与重金属污染物Pb、cd的变化趋势进行研究。结果表明，监测断面的泥沙含量变化与重金属浓度整体变化趋势相近，呈现出明显的季节变化特征，清样的浓度变化没有浑样明显，整体趋势变化平缓，呈逐年降低趋势。过滤清样的重金属浓度远远低于全沙浑样的浓度，泥沙是影响地表水重金属含量的重要因素。
