Baiyun Tunnel ventilation shaft is characterized by complex geological and hydrologic geology engineering condi- tion with a inclined ventilation shaft angle of 23.5°, hole length over 1000m, and the construction is made even more diffi- cult by tight construction period. In combination with Baiyun Tunnel ventilation shaft construction, the paper introduces the large angle inclined ventilation shaft tunnel construction techniques. Mining equipments are introduced during the Baiyun Tunnel ventilation shaft construction, and similar inclined shaft construction experience is made full use, which provides ef- fective solution to difficulties encountered in inclined shaft excavation under the condition of large dip angle , lining, slag transportation.
