Bi-based superconducting material is an important high temperature superconducting material which has been studied extensively in the past several decades. This paper summarized the research significance of Bi-based superconducting materials and discussed the structure and preparation methods of Bi-based superconducting tapes based on the literature at home and abroad. Finally, the applied prospects for the superconducting materials were introduced.
