Based on the second class of structures to be protected against lightning with low- voltage cables buried introduction, the calculation of partial lightning current generated by resistance coupling; class Ⅰ test and testing waveform of SPD; parameters of voltage switching type, voltage limiting type, combination type class Ⅰ test SPD; setting of backup overcurrent protection of class Ⅰ test SPD are discussed.
