Currently, the issue of employment for graduates has aroused wide concern. And the core problem of the issue lies in how graduates can relieve the pressure of employment and solve the problem of the disassociation between universities’ talent cultivation and the market demand. The employment competitiveness of graduates goes hand in hand with the education of universities. So that taking the market demand as the guidance for education has become the consensus of universities. And the kernel of that lies exactly in the cultivation of the core competitiveness of graduates’ employment. The purpose of this article is just to probe into that. In the article, we approach the subject from different angles： the analysis of the definition and features of core competitiveness of university students＇ employment; the construction of the cultivation system; and some thoughts about how to enhance the core competitiveness of graduates’ employment.
