This paper analyzes the reasons of the failures in SPD power supply with voltage limits and the working principle of the decoupler, and discussed how to improve the sensibility of the decoupler. A method to improve the sensibility of the decoupler was proposed through summarizing the experiences in test, facilitating the enhancement of the safey of the power supply SPD in application.
