City public logistics information platform is the core and key factor of the development of modern logistics. Through the construction of logistics information platform, it can greatly promote the information-oriented for modem logistics development. The concept and characteristic of logistics information platform are defined and the role and significance of city logistics information platform have been analyzed. Based on the analysis of city logistics information platform system function and stnacture, the overall framework of the hierarchy software and hardware for information platform have been built and designed.
