In order to adapt to the needs of food additives teaching reform and development in the new period, this paper discusses the effective ways of improving the teaching contents, teaching methods and means, and evaluation methods in terms of the present state and existent problems in food additives course. It will play an important role to improve the quality of teaching and cultivate the actual ability of the students in using food additives.
